Food: Esarn Kheaw
Back in 2004 Lex and were lucky enough to spend some time living and traveling around Thailand. There was a great little cafe in an apartment complex close to where we lived called Nong Dii (which I think means good younger sibling). It was really cheap and the food was always fresh and tasty. Once we had been to Thailand the local Thai joints in Tasmania never quite cut the mustard so when we moved to London and discovered that our local Thai place were were not expecting marvels.
Esarn Kheaw is nothing like the Thai restaurants we have back home. The food is fresh, authentic and extremely tasty. It isn't as cheap as Nong Dii but is still cheap by London standards. If you are ever in W12 and in need of a feed, or even if you live on the other side of London I definitely recommend checking it out.
