These terms apply to your use of Class Points at lauchl.in. By using it you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

The service

Class Points is a free tool for teachers to track and reward student participation. You can use it without an account, or log in with an email address to sync your class between devices.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the information you enter, including students' names, and for having the right to use it this way under your school's policies and the laws that apply to you. We recommend first names or nicknames only.
• Keep your class code private. Anyone with it can view and change your class.
• Don't use Class Points to break the law, harass or harm others, upload harmful or offensive content, or disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or other people's classes.

Your data

Your class data remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export it at any time and ask us to delete it.

Availability and changes

Class Points is provided free and on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time. Please export your class regularly so you keep your own backup.

No warranty and limit of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranties about Class Points, including that it will be error-free, always available, or that your data will never be lost, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

Suspension

We may suspend or remove access, or delete data, for anyone who breaks these terms or misuses the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Class Points after a change means you accept the updated terms.
